Speed, solitude, a sombre mood. For Fall-Winter 2024, Solid Homme explores the narrative of a typically transient moment: the commute. Drawing from Edward Hopper’s paintings, the muted colour palette in longing blues, deep greens and shots of red, renders the collection in subdued tones, which amplify the duality of the subject of this collection: a solo traveller with a distant goal. Agile and determined, he offers us a glimpse of the unique disposition that is the journey to work. An alienated individual in transit, part of a collective movement.
